The Kyrienyle are the original elves, their name meaning "The Elven People." They are culturally extinct, and are included here for completion.

Real-World Comparison

They are standard fantasy elves and draw more inspiration from Lord of the Rings, The Forgotten Realms or Dragonlance than any real world sources (although, by extension, they draw from these works' real-world sources).

Campaign Role

The Kyrienyle are a lost people. Artifacts of their existence, furthermore, are relegated to the Western Continent. As such, they are unlikely to have any role in the New World. The Syranyle who crossed the ocean, however, are the closest elven people to them, having been conquered only once over a thousand years ago, as opposed to living in perpetual disenfranchisement and defeat, as the Gerenyle, Syranyle and Darynyle.
