John is a former security guard turned slightly off-kilter Mastigos. He acted with general disregard for the risk of paradox until, in the process of fighting another Moros, he inadvertently brought forth an abyssal parasite. This was killed, but not before physically traumatizing him.

He is hesitant to deal with vampires or their servants, hostile towards werewolves and protective of his friends around other mages.
