Roper Red

Roper is a huge, hulking creature of about 400lbs. He stands at just 4’6” tall (but somehow feels as though he looms over all others) and has a fat, round face with a triple chin. His hair is thin and bristly, cut into an unpleasant buzzcut. He wears thick, fluffy coats and knit caps.

His mien reveals his face to be even bigger than is initially apparent. His face is a smallish off-green blob affixed to neckless zit-encrusted shoulders. His mouth is dominated by two enormous tusks that protrude upward from the lower corners of his mouth. His saliva is thick and slimy in the most unpleasant way, and his hands are like great hams with sausage link fingers. His mantle is moderate, and smells of autumn leaves.

Roper's Story

Roper told the story about how when he was young, he was afraid of the dark, but it was because he didn't trust himself in the dark. That he believed that he was capable of terrible things and had invasive thoughts of killing his (trusting, helpless) pets. Then, a REAL boogeyman took him, and he came back knowing that there were REAL monsters out there, and that he could use the evil in him to fight things that are MORE evil. Now, he has many pets, and does not kill them, but he does kill monsters. The right kind of monsters.
