Some things you need to know about bases. Bases? Yes, bases. This Base Size Chart from 2013, for example:

Warhammer Base Sizes

I really wish I could embed this shit. Anyway, you have your tiny little fuckers, and they need to be 20mm X 20mm. These are things like humans, elves, dwarves, skaven and various humanoids. Yes, the scale of Warhammer is such that these sizes are all functionally identical.

At 25mm X 25mm, you have the slightly-larger-than-life. The nearly-to-just-over 3 meter tall orcs, saurus...es...es, the daemon heralds, dryads, and a few other outliers.

Ok, now we're up to 40mm X 40mm. Get your attention? Yeah, that's right - orcs frequently tower over men, while ogres tower over even orcs. They swallow men, skaven, goblins and little lizard and frog guys whole. That's fucked up. Those sort of monsters are this big. Oh, and the imperial pegasi. With wingspan, they're in the 40mm range.

50mm x 50mm? Now you're getting onto some crazy shit. Mostly, for one thing, huge bloated deamons and nightmarish hell-creations of the vilest of ratmen. Oh, a big old proud-ass monsters. And, oh, why the fuck not, cannons.

Now look, this is all nitpicky bullshit, but it's a THING, I tell you, a THING poorhammer players MUST get right! We're playing for the GAME, not the models and such: as such, we demand the most accurate, unadulterated game. If we're playing for the GAME, you need to get the physical rules of the game right. BASE you pretend pretend men properly! 20mm! 25mm! 40mm! 50mm x 100mm look at me I'm a goddam dragon! 25mm x 50mm 'cause horses be LARGE friend!

And IRONY - the LARGEST figure is a Chaos Dwarf (Dwarf? Say WHAT?) Dreadquake Mortar on Steam Carriage. Holy shit, 200mm x 60mm! What is that? I don't even fucking know.
