Heather Grey

Heather Grey is a player character in the World of Darkness: Newcastle game.

Background

Childhood

As a young girl, Heather had the traumatic experience of witnessing her mother and father being fed upon by a horrible lamprey mouthed man with a long overcoat and a powerful build. The creature sucked their blood through their throats, leaving no wounds, turned to Heather and "shush"'d her gently, causing no small amount of trauma. In the morning her parents believed that they had simply had too much wine, but she knew the truth and refused to accept the explanation that they were manipulated into.

Motivation

Heather spent most of her life trying to forget what happened to her as a child, but during her first semester of college she decided she could no longer live with the uncertainty of what really happened. Not only is she looking for clarity, but she's looking for revenge; for what happened to her parents, for her traumatized childhood of constant nightmares and sleeplessness, and for the ridicule and isolation she experienced though high school. She needs to stop this monster from hurting anyone else.

Arrival in Newcastle

After dropping out of college, Heather started following the creature, which she has learned may be called (or call itself) "The Flayer", across the norther portion of the United States, from her hometown of Chicago, Il. to Duluth, Mn.; Bonner's Ferry, ID.; Spokane, Wa.; and, finally, to Newcastle, taking up a breadcrumb trail of blurry photographs, half-remembered accounts and strange deaths.
