Sword Princess Chalice (aka, every possible arrangement of those words) is a potentially upcoming tactical wargame project written in python by LordNightmare and Ryecatcher15. It is not scheduled for release, and is basically something they are doing for fun.

Inspiration

The inspiration for this project is the Sega Genesis game "Warsong" (aka "Langrisser"), a tactical skirmish level wargame with an elegant and fairly entertaining combat resolution engine. Further inspiration for the project is being taken from games like the Fire Emblem Series.

The name Sword Princess Chalice is a running joke first introduced in Dark Jco.'s Dungeons and Dragons game referencing the McGuffin nature of quest goals. "Retrieve the sword/princess/chalice".
