On Pies

Again, I'm seeing a lot of pure symmetry patterns here.

I'd say, between this and the race, the pie is divided as follows:

50% race 35% choices 15% government

Obviously government, being a purely static benefit, shrinks on the pie as the game progresses, while race, already a strong factor, expands. Kind of like Race / Class in the standard d20 Material.

I'd say you have the right of it as far as the math goes. I do think race will shrink more as the game progresses and the ideal locations are used up.

The main reason for pure symmetry throughout is to give a more equalized perspective on all the options so that nothing looks lopsided or overpowered. And again, as stated in the races section, the government and races rules are entirely optional. Oh, and the secondary attribute bonuses? Taken straight from the Optional Kingdom Rules for governments.
