The Freehold of Battle Creek has been devastated by war. The once robust changeling population has waned dramatically. This, despite a mystical bargain that keeps the True Fae at bay (referred to as "The Cereal Box"). With no fae incursions and vacancies in the Freehold, the City is an attractive prospect to any changeling looking for a home.

The PC's are newcomers to the Freehold arriving by train. Some have received invitations directly from the King of Spring, but all believe they will find a place to belong.

Will the new Freehold fulfill their dreams of belonging, or is there more to the Cereal City than it appears?
