* Vega once got him out of some serious shit: he had car trouble because he was driving around like a jackass.
* He once helped to save one person by driving the cooler with five people's organs in it to the children's hospital. Back in the Hardhold before that (Cinderella)
* Found out that his mother died and returned as a blue-glowing monster that his father had to put her down. He was drunk.


* Steve sees Pie as someone who just sort of gets by; someone who starts shit and reacts.
