Chaotic Neutral is an alignment on the two-axis ethical/moral alignment system used by D&D 2nd, 3rd and 5th editions (but notably NOT 4th edition), as well as Pathfinder RPG. It represents a commitment to personal freedom, typically not at the expense of others or oneself.
